Pilates 

  • PILATES METHOD- a system of exercises designed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920s that build general core strength as well as postural awareness with abdominal centered movement, gluteal tone, shoulder stability, & spinal strength/flexibility. It is a combination of mat work, and spring resisted apparatus such as the reformer, tower/cadillac, and chair- (though this is not an exhausted list of all Joe’s inventions). Pilates sessions can accommodate and challenge all levels of abilities.
